1. Who I am
This website belongs to GlideQuest Consulting, the independent practice of Steven Neidich, working as a sole practitioner. Throughout this page, “I” and “my” mean that practice. The best way to reach me is through the contact form.
2. About the content here
This site describes the contracting services I offer. It is general information, not professional, technical, or legal advice, and it should not be the basis for a decision about your own platform.
I try to keep it accurate, but I do not warrant that it is complete or current. Any engagement is governed by a separate written agreement rather than by this website, and where the two differ, the signed agreement governs.
3. Intellectual property
The text, layout, graphics, logos, and code on this site are mine or licensed to me, and are protected by copyright. You are welcome to view, download, and print pages for your own reference. Please do not republish, sell, or commercially exploit the material.
Ownership of work produced during an engagement is dealt with in the agreement covering that engagement, not here.
4. Trademarks
ServiceNow is a registered trademark of ServiceNow, Inc. GlideQuest Consulting is an independent practice and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by ServiceNow, Inc. I refer to ServiceNow and its products only to describe the platform I work on and the certifications I hold. Other product names and brands belong to their respective owners.
5. Privacy
I collect only what you choose to send. If you complete the contact form, I receive your name, company name, email address, an optional phone number, the category you selected, and your message. My hosting provider also records standard technical information such as IP address and browser type as part of ordinary server operation.
I use those details to respond to your enquiry, hold an initial conversation, and, if it goes further, prepare a proposal. The basis for that is your consent in submitting the form and my legitimate interest in answering a business enquiry. I do not sell your information, and I do not use it for advertising or automated decision-making.
Your enquiry is seen by me, and handled by the service providers who run this website, the contact form, and my email. Those providers may process information outside your own country, relying on the safeguards they have in place. I may disclose information where the law requires it. I keep correspondence only as long as I need it, after which it is deleted unless it forms part of a client record I am required to retain.
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to ask for a copy of what I hold about you, to correct or delete it, to restrict or object to how it is used, or to receive it in a portable form, and you can withdraw consent at any time. Ask through the contact form and I will respond as promptly as I reasonably can. If you are unhappy with my response, you may complain to the supervisory authority in your jurisdiction.
6. Cookies and local storage
This site sets no advertising, analytics, or tracking cookies. It stores one item in your browser: your choice of light or dark theme, so the site looks the same next time. It stays on your device, is never sent to me, and clearing your browser storage removes it. If I add analytics later, I will update this page and ask for consent where required.
7. Security, and links to other sites
I take reasonable measures to protect what you send me, though no transmission over the internet is completely secure. Please do not send credentials, confidential material, or other people’s personal data through the contact form.
Where I link to another organisation’s website, it is for convenience. I do not control those sites and am not responsible for their content or privacy practices.
8. Accessibility
I aim to meet WCAG 2.1 Level AA on this site. If something here gets in your way, please tell me through the contact form and I will fix it.
9. Changes, and getting in touch
I may update this page from time to time, and the current version always applies. Questions about anything on it can go through the contact form.
