I have experience running ServiceNow, not just building with it.

I have been the administrator keeping an instance healthy, the developer enhancing it, the analyst translating what a business needs from it, and even the person accountable for the platform as a whole.

Having sat in those roles, I have a fair idea of what a team in that position needs from an outside consultant, and what it does not. I started GlideQuest Consulting to do that work directly.

ServiceNow Professional

I have spent twelve years in IT and eight of them on the ServiceNow platform, working as an administrator, consultant, architect, and owner. Most recently I led the platform and development team at a global trading firm, running a release cadence, a sprint backlog, and the day-to-day operations behind both.

Much of that work was translation: taking what executives wanted in terms of outcomes and turning it into something engineers could build, then reporting back in terms the business could follow. A technical roadmap that only the technical team can read is not much use to anyone, and I found that most delivery problems started as communication problems rather than engineering ones.

On any engagement, the first conversation, the design, the build, and the handover are all mine. Certifications are listed below.
